Projects: Development of local water supplies through brackish water and sea water desalination.

Total Program Funds: $50 million, pending California Department of Finance exemption.

Funding 2013: up to $10 million available for this cycle of funding. Applicants are required to match the State grant by at least 50 % of their total project cost.
