CALFED Watershed Program 2006-07 Proposal Solicitation Package (PSP) : This grant round requests new assessment and planning projects located in priority watersheds, projects providing valuation & health indicators for watersheds and projects implementing an existing Watershed Plan.

Applicant: Eligible applicants include local, state, and federal agencies, special districts, state colleges and universities as well as California non-profit organizations with IRS §501(c) (3) status.

Amount Available: approximately $10 million. Minimum award is $50k and the maximum award is $1million. Some proposals will be required to match 100% of the grant amount requested.

Fund Source:Proposition 50

Due Date: Anticipating requests for concept proposals in February/March, 2007.

Recent Funding 2005/2006:  Award of $9 million from Prop 50, CALFED Watershed Program was made in June, 2006. 29 projects for watershed restoration will begin Winter, 2006.
